Sailorman
Turbonegro- SAILORMAN
Oh so handsome -
Oh so strong -
Tell me stories of distant shores -
All night long -
I shiver all over -
When I see your lovly tan -
And I can tell by your clear blue eyes -
Your a sailor man -
Oh sailor man -
From polar land -
Oh sailor man -
Come take my hand -
Oh sailor man - Take me along -
Show me the porta-prince and Hong Kong -
Oh sailor man -
I sure hope you don't drown-
I'd rather have you showing me Cape Town -
You know your to New York, New York -
Where we can go to bars -
A strong blonde handsome sailor -
Norwegians call you Lars -
Oh sailor man -
From polar land -
Oh sailor man -
Come take my hand -
Oh sailor man -
I'd gladly die -
To see the ports of Rostock and Shanghai -
Sailor Man -
Oh, sailor man -
Please take my hand -
Oh tender sailor man

Second part of Final Assignment
This is the second part of my project I have done this image in Illustrator and using the illustration drawn by me.
Also I enjoyed so much creating this type of illustration because I always go for something more "realistic".
But this has been the time that I tried graphics and I am very satisfied with it.

Final project
This is my final project for my classes (portfolio/illustration)
The project: It is about rendereing 2 portraits from a same person, one is going to be "realistic", the second one using paints is going to be using Illustrator. so we'll see how this is going to turn into.
Also I want to thank you to my friend Tania Apolinar who has agreedt o used her photograph. She is a young photographer from Torreon, Mexico and if you want to take a look of her work you can check it HERE
The model is also my friend her name is Ana Luisa Mesta and I have done in the past portraits of her. She is a young model from Torreon, Mexico and you can check some of her modeling work & Self photography in HERE
and this is the process that I'm going through ...
Done.

postcard for cancer
This is a Illustration for a set of postcard prints to be given to for a donation at the campaign is to ride with Lance Armstrong in Kitchener on August 28th and raising funds for Cancer Research.
The idea behind this illustration is to thanks you to all the people who is supporting this event and is fighting Cancer. So I thought that one of the best ways that you could thank somebody is giving an smile.

Expired
For this IF I drew this in illustrator & photoshop and I also tried another style just for fun.
When I first thought about "expired" too many ideas came to my head, but I was looking for something more creative than
draw people. So I came up with this illustration based on the video Blur - Coffe & tv. This video came up on June of 1999 so it's been 11 years ago. expired 11 years ago.

Perception
Many cats have a visual field of view estimated at 200°, versus 180° in humans, with a binocular field (overlap in the images from each eye) narrower than that of humans. As with most predators, their eyes face forward, affording depth perception at the expense of field of view.
Their perception is very different.

Muddy!
Alright so, For this week in Illustration friday
the topic is "Muddy" and I chose to use water colours because of the texture and the topic is kind of interesting.
This Illustration was based on my childhood memories because I used to play with mudd when I was a kid.
I remember my mom used to take me to my grandma's house to babe sit me while my mom used to go to work.
So I used to play always in the little park in front of my grandma's house, and one of my favorite stuff to do was bury toys on the ground cover them with dirt and come back next day and try to find them.
ahaha.. I don't know how many toys I lost doing that but... I found that playing with mud is fun!.
haha.

Focus!
This is drawing is for the friday's topic
which this week was "focus".
I had lots of ideas in my head, and I illustrated two of them.
neither of these images is one of these illustrations.
However, I drew this a couple months ago but I really like the model,
her eyes, her eye brows, the symmetry of her face a unique expression.
so I decided to draw her, but I FOCUSED on her beautiful and unique eyes.
"sometimes the concept doesn't have to be on the paper, some other times it might be in what YOU focused on. Because
focus is to be interested in somehow in something"

Cereal Ad
Alright, so here is this Ad that I designed a few days ago for my portfolio class.
I came up with this concept of ad because I found really interesting the old illustration style.
Also, I enjoyed to draw this as a challenge and looking for experience.
The concept is pretty simple, but I like keep simple things.
